Our annual Family Camp is a long standing tradition around Oaklands Chapel.
Formerly held at Paradise Beach Resort in Parksville, it has for the last 10 years or so been held at Camp Imadene on the 2nd weekend in June.
June 2007, we enjoyed having Jerry and Renee Ritskes with us. Jerry shared 3 teaching sessions with us thinking about the times in our lives when God doesn’t make sense.
The camp is intentionally laid back and provides great opportunities to simply spend time together in a relaxed format. We enjoyed good times together with a mix of weather over the weekend. One of the highlights had to be the “Whose smarter than a 5th grader” game on Saturday night followed by Kathie’s dancing lesson. If you don’t make it a practice to come to these events, you just don’t know what you’re missing out on!
