On the third Tuesday of each month from September to June @ 7 pm, women of all ages get together for craft projects. These completed creations are shipped to our missionaries in various parts of the world.

We support missionaries through prayer and by financial and practical contributions. We made and sent approximately 1,000 calendars to missionaries in South America and Mexico. We gave 100 knitted toques to Lighthouse Harbour Ministries in Vancouver. A Ladies Group in Bowser gives us items for distribution, some of which were hygiene bags. Our group gave many knitted garments to Shirley Vargas and used postage stamps were given to Jurgen Schulz’ printing ministry. We sent filled pencil cases and dresses with the Oaklands team to Mexico.  Rolled bandages and some donations of wool and fabric were given to the Compassionate Warehouse.

In December our group delivered 10 tins of homemade cookies to shut-ins. In June we had a dinner with Shirley Vargas and Marianne and Stella French as our guest speaker. 55 ladies attended.

We enjoy working with our hands, making items for our missionaries, hearing their news and needs and praying for them.
