Where: Oaklands Chapel - "Sunday School" When: Sunday from 10:00 am-11:30 am Who: UDK is for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6 / Pre-school children 3 & 4 year old can participate in our Pre-School Sunday School / Nursery & Toddlers - babysitting is available.

UDK SUNDAY SCHOOL is a ministry that supports families in the spiritual development of their children. 

We welcome children from Kindergarten to Grade 5 on Sunday mornings while adults are participating in the church service.  The introduction of Jesus Christ is taugh to boys and girls and we show them how they can have a personal relationship with Him. Our teachings are from the Faith Alive program "Kid Connection".

Another focus of our ministry is to teach children how to live their lives in a way that pleases God.  We attempt to accomplish this by teaching Bible based lessons in age appropriate ways and through developing relationships with the children, we can model Christ likeness for them. 

It is our desire that the children develop strong relationships with each other so that they are well connected with the church family.  We also see value in families developing good relationships with each other so that they can be a support to each other. 

Our program is offered on a Sunday morning, which is designed to have a social time where the children can get to know each other, a teaching time and a life application time.

PRE-SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL

We welcome pre-school children, aged 3 and 4 year olds to join us as we present simple Bible truths in creative ways. Our teachings are from the "Group Hands-On the Bible" curriculum.

Each lesson is based on an important Bible story and the children participate in a variety of fun and memorable learning experiences that help them understand important points.

Many events occur through out the year, where pre-schoolers can participate. At Christmas, the class entertained everyone by actively singing Away in a Manger and on Mother's Day singing with actions I'm in the Lord's Army.
